Katrina L. Lee, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

After graduating from Abraham Lincoln High School in Port Arthur, Texas, Dr. Katrina Lee went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from Rice University. While completing her undergraduate education, she performed research in biochemistry and cell biology at the Institute for Molecular Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine. In addition, she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Lambda Upsilon Honorary Chemical Society. Dr. Lee graduated from Rice University magna cum laude and was selected to receive the John P. McGovern Outstanding Pre-Medical Student Award, an honor bestowed on one graduating senior each year.

Dr. Lee went on to graduate from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, where she received a number of academic and research awards. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago, where she served as Chief Resident. She has presented her work at professional society meetings including the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

 

She is a member of several professional organizations, such as the National Medical Association, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association and Dallas County Medical Society; she is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Lee is a board-certified Diplomat of The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Her special interests include adolescent gynecology, gynecologic urology, routine and high-risk obstetrics, infertility issues, and preventive health. She currently lives in Plano. In her spare time, the native Texan enjoys motivational speaking, exercising, cooking, and traveling.
